Wonderful day providing 13 women with a few mammogram at the Black History Month Festival at Brophy! A recent study of 177, 075 women found that nearly half the upstaging at breast cancer diagnosis seen in racial/ethnic minorities is mediated by insurance coverage. Insurance and access to care play an important role in disparities of stage of breast cancer diagnosis. We are happy to break down financial barriers so women can receive breast healthcare.
